Day 1 - Arrival Monteverde

Day 1: We made it to CIEE Global Institute in time for dinner! A gorgeous ride up, up, up and up!  It is cooler here - a little rain just as we arrived.

The kids are getting a little introduction to the campus for another 5 minutes and then they will head back to their rooms to unpack and sleep.

First thing tomorrow the whole group (not half as it said on one itinerary) will meet at 6:30 am for a quick introduction to bird watching by a naturalist on the CIEE staff.  Breakfast to follow and science starts at 8:30 am.
