Note from Beth

Dear Parents and Friends of 2019 Bioinformatics!

This group is fabulous. I'm so pleased at how well they have learned to take care of each other and have fun. Last night they petitioned me to be allowed to stay up until 10:30 to "hang" since they knew tonight they'd need a good night's rest before their final presentations tomorrow. That's about the way the group has been the whole time: highly respectful, where they need to be when they need to be there, and full of good clean fun and positive attitudes.  You would be proud!

Tomorrow we change venues. We will have lunch here and then load the bus and head north to Liberia where we will stop at a large-ish shopping area they will recognize from last year. There we will pick up the 2nd chaperone, Erica, who will join us for these last 3 days in El Jobo and then accompany your kids through US Customs and Immigration to their respective gates for their final flights back to each of you.

It's been a real pleasure so far. What fun!

Best, Beth

  1. What a great opportunity for young people to experience. This blog has been a wonderful tool for viewing what they are learning and doing on a daily basis. Very impressive!
